Donna’s weaving projects

Interconnected 1, included in the North Olympic Fiber Arts Festival exhibit at the Museum & Arts Center in Sequim, Wash.

Interconnected 2 A display of some of my early weaving, attached to a bundle of dowels in honor of the story that separately, all can be broken but together we can do more than we imagine.

Donna’s cards

“A New Beginning.” Pieces of patterned paper trimmed and layered on cardstock; butterfly and caterpillar from Posh Wish/Dream Vertical Impressions Set. Images stamped on glossy cardstock and trimmed. Handwritten sentiment.

Sail Aweigh and Flying High. Handprinted “Bon Voyage” in butterscotch ink. Marvy marker, light blue. Scrap paper, pink 4 1/4″ x 4 1/8″ and purple 5 3/8 x 5 3/8″. stamps from Posh Impressions.

“Seasons Change. Friends Remain.” All images Posh Impressions, mostly from the Stamp-A-Scene set. White and pastel blue cardstock. Sailboats were stamped on sticker paper. Greeting was a Posh Impressions sticker from Mrs. Grossman’s. All other images were stamps.

“Happiness is . . . Stamping.” Posh Quilted Alphabet without the frames for “Stamping.” “Happiness is…” was a sticker, attached to scrapbooking paper.

“Joy in Becoming.” Pieces of patterned paper trimmed and layered on cardstock. Butterfly and caterpillar from Posh Wish/Dream Vertical Impressions Set, stamped on glossy cardstock and trimmed. Yellow yarn used for embellishing. Handwritten sentiment.
