The Card-making Series continues with more cards related to the seasons.
Since the first day of autumn is Wednesday, Sept. 23, “Fall” is the theme of this installment’s cards.
The first one is called “Happy Fall,” posted to the Club Posh gallery in January of 2007.
Starting from the bottom layer, I glued a piece of orange cardstock to a piece of printed paper. After stamping Stampcraft leaf designs on fall-colored paper, I attached them around the right edge and bottom of the card.
“FALL” was stamped in brown ink using alphabet stamps on a piece of paper covered with green acrylic paint. “Happy” was hand-printed on the same piece of paper. Both were outlined with the brown ink marker.
My second “Fall” card also uses the leaves from Stampcraft, with a small Posh Impressions pine tree.
The background on the bright orange cardstock scrap was created with various colors on a sponge left over from Posh Rainbow ink. “Celebrate” is rub-on; “fall” is hand-printed.
